ELLA FITZGERALD: THE VOICE OF JAZZ, FOREVER RESONATING - 15.12.2024 - 19:00

The most amazing jazz singer of all times, a real queen of jazz genre. In a legendary jazz club, the venue that is a part of a history. Listen to the marvellous tribute paid to Ella Fitzgerald, sang by the mistress of classical jazz and scat – Elena Sonenshine. She will play together with her great and experienced quartet of jazz professionals.

The history of the famous jazz club Reduta begins in 1958. As the oldest continuously operating jazz and theater club in the world, it falls under the leading artistic agency EUROCONCERT s.r.o., which represents over a thousand artists of all genres and is the oldest and largest of its kind in Europe.

The club will celebrate its 65th anniversary next year and was repeatedly selected by the prestigious British newspaper The Guardian as one of the TOP 10 best jazz clubs in Europe. The experience of an original retro atmosphere, a pleasant intimate environment and exceptional musical acoustics attracts real jazz fans, among whom are VIP celebrities from all over the world, leading world politicians, international business leaders and many other important personalities.

In the past, presidents of more than 40 countries have visited the club - among them Bill Clinton, Václav Havel, Václav Klaus and others.

Reduta Jazz Club presents the most famous legends of global jazz and is the only club in Prague to present excellent BIG BAND SHOWS.

So far, the club has played more than 40,000 musical performances and 30,000 theatrical performances. The excellent acoustics of the club (thanks to hall sounding with resonance bars) are complemented by a Petrof concert piano.
