Dvořák Symphony Orchestra Prague originated in the 60s of the last century on the initiative of the top musicians. Also, the current members are leading players renowned orchestras in Prague (Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, FOK, SOČR, PKO, PKF, The National Theatre and other). Since 1960's its popularity among children and adults has been constantly growing. It tells a story of the magic of Christmas that transforms people into magic beings longing for idyllic adventure. Everything is but a dream enhanced by the magnificent festive atmosphere of Christmas Eve. The Nutcracker is a much-loved and popular ballet among the audience.
The performance is a selection of eight scenes from the work of Black Light Theatre Srnec since its foundation in 1961 – e.g., The Flying Bicycle, What’s next?, White Pierot in Black, or The Week of Dreams.
