Our tour will take you to this unique Prague’s underground location, once the Old Town’s prison and torture chamber, and our guides will lead you through the gruesome events that took place there.
Beneath the Old Town Hall and Astronomical Clock lie a series of recently restored chambers that many people do not even know exist and most tours ignore. Yet these chambers are tied up in the history of the Old Town Hall and of Prague itself.
You’ll learn about Prague’s most famous executioner and the prisoners who suffered in the dark in these rooms, and you’ll also get an introduction to the science of the paranormal and the strange phenomena reported in these underground chambers.
This Underground Walk is also taken by lamplight, and offers a good chance for visitors to try and capture some evidence of the spirit world, as these chambers are reportedly very active. This tour takes place in the underground chambers of the Old Town Hall and gives you an introduction to the history and ghost stories associated with these rooms. Do not expect anyone to be hidden behind the corner to scare you as you pass along.
This tour runs with 2 people min.
