Forms of love, which are transformed from film projections into live black light theatre scenes, offer the audience a unique opportunity to experience a story of romance and emotions. From the first meeting of two people, through the excitement of first dates and dance nights, the audience is immersed in a dream world where love develops and changes. Dreams lead us to the many-armed goddess who symbolizes the diversity of love, but also to dark nightmares that threaten to destroy the romantic spell and drag the couple in love into a stereotype.
The multimedia performance Images of Love combines elements of black light theatre with fascinating visual effects that appeal to audiences of all ages. This performance transcends the boundaries of traditional theater as it offers an interactive experience where the audience can participate in the emotions of the characters. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, allowing each viewer to let loose and live out their own romantic dreams without fear of convention.
The entire performance is non-verbal, which means it avoids language barriers and allows for universal understanding. Audiences can laugh, dance and experience fear as they watch the story unfold. Images of Love is not just about watching, but actively experiencing love in its various forms. Come to have fun and dream, because everyone can find a piece of their own love story in this black light theatre.
In the HILT black light theater, which is known for its unique performances, music plays a key role. The original compositions written by the director Theodor Hoidekr are complemented by world hits that immediately captivate the audience. Among them we find songs from iconic artists such as Shakira, Sting, AC/DC and Coldplay. The performance also features music from the cult film Dirty Dancing, which evokes nostalgic memories. An interesting element is also the mystical version of the choir song by Koutev Bulgarian national ensemble, for which the HILT black light theater secured a special license.
