Ray Charles is known as a laughing jazzman. He is famous for songs from the 1960s and 1970s, such as Hit the Road Jack and Georgia on my mind. His life and professional journey were full of obstacles and yet were successfully overcome after a long time.

Ray Charles and Lee Andrew Davison are connected not only with love for music but also with enthusiasm and desire to create music for the audience, which will appreciate it and pass it on to the next generations.

The history of the famous jazz club Reduta begins in 1958. As the oldest continuously operating jazz and theater club in the world, it falls under the leading artistic agency EUROCONCERT s.r.o., which represents over a thousand artists of all genres and is the oldest and largest of its kind in Europe.

The club will celebrate its 65th anniversary next year and was repeatedly selected by the prestigious British newspaper The Guardian as one of the TOP 10 best jazz clubs in Europe. The experience of an original retro atmosphere, a pleasant intimate environment and exceptional musical acoustics attracts real jazz fans, among whom are VIP celebrities from all over the world, leading world politicians, international business leaders and many other important personalities.

In the past, presidents of more than 40 countries have visited the club - among them Bill Clinton, Václav Havel, Václav Klaus and others.

Reduta Jazz Club presents the most famous legends of global jazz and is the only club in Prague to present excellent BIG BAND SHOWS.

So far, the club has played more than 40,000 musical performances and 30,000 theatrical performances. The excellent acoustics of the club (thanks to hall sounding with resonance bars) are complemented by a Petrof concert piano.
